Phase One Lectures zum Auftakt der Fototage
Schon am Freitagnachmittag starten die Darmstädter Tage der Fotografie mit den Phase One-Lectures in der Hochschule Darmstadt.
Um 14 Uhr erläutert Götz Diergarten seinen konzeptuellen Ansatz in der Tradition der Düsseldorfer Schule nach Bernd und Hilla Becher. Anschließend gibt Sascha Weidner Einblick, wie er das eigene Archiv als Quelle seiner künstlerischen Praxis nutzt.

Wo: Aula der Hochschule Darmstadt, Olbrichweg 10.
Der Eintritt ist frei. Phase One, Kamerahersteller der Premiumklasse und Förderer der DTDF, ermöglicht diese Künstlerbeiträge.

Profi-Workshops „Projektplanung“ und „Fundraising“
In Zusammenarbeit mit der Gesellschaft für Humanistische Fotografie e.V. aus Berlin bieten die Darmstädter Tage der Fotografie zwei ganztägige Seminare am Fachbereich Gestaltung der Hochschule Darmstadt an.
Am Freitag (25. April) durchleuchtet Andrea Diefenbach „Das fotografische Projekt – von der Planung bis zur Durchführung“. Am Sonntag (27. April) zeigt Katharina Mouratidi, wie „Fundraising für Fotografinnen und Fotografen“ Fotoprojekte finanziert.
Die Teilnahmegebühr je Workshop beträgt 130.- Euro. Mitglieder der Gesellschaft für Humanistische Fotografie und Studierende zahlen 100 Euro. Anmeldungen sind bis zum 16. April 2014 möglich – bei der Gesellschaft für Humanistische Fotografie e.V.

Phase One Lectures as openers
Already on Friday afternoon, the Darmstaedter Tage der Fotografie will start with the Phase One-Lectures at the University of Applied Sciences. At 2pm Goetz Diergarten illuminates his conceptual approach in the tradition of Bernd and Hilla Becher. Afterward Sascha Weidner gives an insight how he’s using his personal archive as source of his artistic practice.

In cooperation with the Society for Humanistic Photography e.V. in Berlin the Darmstaedter Tage der Fotografie will offer two full-time workshops at the University of Applied Sciences.
Friday, 25th April, Andrea Diefenbach lights the „photographic project – from the planning to the realisation“. On Sunday, 27th April, Katharina Mouratidi shows how „Fundraising for Photographers“ helps to finance photographic projects.
